Love holiday music? Love Bagpipes? Ever thought those two would never meet?
Never fear! Pipe Major Matt Willis Bagpiper and Pipe Sergeant Peter Bailey Bagpiper from Metroplex United Pipe Band are going trade their typical Great Highland Bagpipes for some Scottish smallpipes to live-stream Christmas carols and other holiday music on Facebook! They’ll be playing for your merriment but also for donations. We have partnered with the North Texas Food Bank so if you like what you hear, your “tips” to the pipers will go to help provide nutritious food to those less fortunate this holiday season.
In addition to the music, Matt and Peter will show you some of the details of playing bagpipes, share some of their holiday memories, and take viewer questions!
So get comfy, start a fire, put on your slippers, grab a mug of cocoa or a glass of eggnog, and join us this Wednesday evening for something a little different for your holiday.
