In-Person Lessons in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area
If you live nearby, Matt also offers a limited number of in-person lessons in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
For Beginners
You don’t need a full set of bagpipes to begin! All that’s required is a practice chanter, a recorder-like instrument that lets you learn fingering and embellishments before transitioning to a full set of pipes. Even experienced pipers use the practice chanter to perfect new tunes and keep their skills sharp. If you don’t own a chanter, Matt can recommend reliable options for purchasing one.
Matt’s Bagpipe Curriculum and YouTube Instruction
Matt has developed a unique curriculum to guide students from beginner to advanced levels. He also posts regular instructional videos on his YouTube channel, providing extra support to enhance your learning experience. This approach ensures you’ll move from practice chanter to full bagpipes quickly while mastering iconic tunes that every piper should know.
